AACE – Seattle Section member, Stephen P. Warhoe, PE CCE CFCC, was inducted as the Association President in the last Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada.  Steve has held various offices at the national level such as Vice President of Administration and Regional Director, as well as several offices within the Denver Section.

 

 

Following Mr. Warhoe's exceptional leadership will be another Seattle Section member, Mark G. Grotefend, CCC.   Mark has served as Vice President of Regions from 2006-2008 and was elected as the Association President for the program year 2009-2010.  Mark is currently serving as President-elect, and as such will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of the 2009 Annual meeting here in Seattle, WA.

AACE International's 2009 Annual Meeting will be held at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel from June 28th thru July 1st, 2009.  The Seattle Section is gearing up to help the Annual Meetings Committee put together a fantastic meeting and we are excited to show off our city to members from around the world.  The Association's President-Elect, Mark Grotefend, is leading the Annual Meetings Committee and we are looking for Section members who would like to get involved and show the spirit of Seattle.  Activities for the meeting are currently underway.  If you are interested in participating, please contact one of the Presiding Officers.
